Background:

Ms. Brophy is a lifelong horsewoman. She spent much of her youth on a horse farm and participated in Pony Club and 4-H. She then went on to spend close to 10 years as the manager of an A-Circuit hunter/jumper stable with headquarters in Monkton, Maryland and Wellington, Florida. Most days she rode 5-10 horses, in addition to managing the business, staff, clients, and travel logistics for more than 20 horses. After living on the road 9 months of the year for almost 10 years, Ms. Brophy decided to pursue formal education, ultimately obtaining her law degree from the University of Maryland. During law school, Ms. Brophy interned with the Honorable Lynne A. Battaglia of the Court of Appeals of Maryland, worked for a large Annapolis law firm, and interned with the House of Ruth Legal Clinic. After law school, Ms. Brophy joined Dulany Leahy Curtis & Beach, LLP as an Associate Attorney and later became a Partner.
